Prevention Program

It is a little known fact that dental caries, also known as tooth decay or cavities, is the single most common chronic childhood disease. Unlike so many other chronic childhood diseases, cavities are preventable.

MPDC is a prevention-focused office. All of our patients receive a cavity risk assessment, oral hygiene instruction, diet counseling, and an age appropriate prevention plan.

These plans include:

• Protective Sealants
• Protective Sports Mouth Guards
• Space Maintainers and Interceptive Orthodontics
